Safe Space Yoga For Women was created with healing in mind.The class is just as it sounds, a safe space for women to show up “as is” and explore the connection between breath and body. During Safe Space Yoga the instructor, Erika, will offer a guided sequence of breathing exercises and poses with a myriad of variations that you can choose from to best compliment how you might be feeling on any given evening. We will explore different themes each week and create an emotional toolbox, if you will. The hope is that these tools will be readily available for you to use off of the yoga mat and in your daily life. This is a women’s only class and held with the highest respect to sensitivities. This class is for significantly female-identified people. We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.
